ruckload carrier Celadon Group late Wednesday reported it earned $4.3 million or 42 cents a share in its fourth fiscal-year quarter ended June 30, up from $2.4 million or 26 cents in last year’s fourth quarter.

Indianapolis-based Celadon said its revenue rose nearly 10% to $117 million.

For the full fiscal year ended June 30, Celadon said it earned $12.6 million, or $1.23 per share.

The company said it increased earnings by improving its freight mix and revenue yield.
