For trucking, this means getting air standards between the United States and Canada in sync, Anderson said. To accomplish that, he later told participants of a government-industry meeting in Toronto that he wants to bring “sulfur content in diesel fuel [to] 15 parts per million by 2006, down from today’s maximum of 500 ppm.”
