Canadian National Reports Higher 4Q Income, Boosts Dividend

Canadian freight railroad Canadian National Railway Co. reported its fourth-quarter net income rose 16% to C$499 million, with earnings-per-share rising to 95 cents.
Income for the full year was C$2.1 billion, an increase of 34%, with earnings per share rising 41% to C$3.91, the railroad said late Tuesday.The railroad, Canada’s largest freight rail line, also said it would boost its quarterly dividend by 29% to 21 Canadian cents in March.
