J.J. Keller Receives Patent for HOS Technology

J.J. Keller & Associates announced that it has received a U.S. patent for technology that improves the collection of vehicle data and reporting of drivers’ hours of service for light- and medium-duty trucks.

The patent covers innovations that aid in recording data associated with driving events such as vehicle trip starts and stops, according to the company.

J.J. Keller offers electronic logging products designed to help carriers improve efficiency and comply with regulations, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s recently published final rule that will require most interstate carriers to adopt ELDs by December 2017.
