Clean Energy Opens 27 Natural-Gas Stations in First Half of the Year

Clean Energy Fuels Corp.

Clean Energy Fuels Corp., which provides compressed and liquefied natural gas, has completed and opened 27 natural-gas fueling stations in the first half of the year, the company said.

Nine of those are truck friendly, Clean Energy said, and part of the America’s Natural Gas Highway network.

The company also announced it will open stations in Albany, Georgia, and Charlotte, North Carolina, to support trucking firms adding more LNG-powered trucks to their fleet.

Raven Transport is deploying 33 more LNG-powered heavy-duty trucks and will use the Albany stations. G&P Trucking is adding five more and will use the station in Charlotte.

“More of our customers are pursuing natural-gas fueling solutions to meet sustainability goals. As Clean Energy continues to open its Natural Gas Highway, you can bet our trucks will be fueling on it,” G&P President Clifton Parker said in a statement.
