Clean Energy Fuels Corp., which provides compressed and liquefied natural gas, said July 16 it opened fueling stations in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Winslow, Arizona, as part of its America’s Natural Gas Highway network for the trucking industry.
The company said natural-gas fueling for heavy-duty trucks is now possible from Columbus, Ohio, to Los Angeles.
Under a fueling agreement, Hennessey, Oklahoma-based Seaboard Transport has deployed 58 heavy-duty CNG trucks that will fuel at Clean Energy stations in nine states.
“Thanks to our fueling agreement with Clean Energy and their commitment to CNG stations along I-40, our first CNG-powered truck recently crossed into California. Now we have a gateway to the West for our CNG fleet,” said Gary Ruettgers, Seaboard’s operations manager.
