Echo Global Logistics said it has acquired truckload brokerage firm Open Mile Inc. Terms were not disclosed.
Open Mile Inc., Boston, developed cloud-based technology that automates many of the manual tasks of transportation management, Echo Global Logistics said in a release.
“The acquisition of Open Mile enhances the technology solutions we offer clients and carriers while also expanding our client base, sales force and carrier network in the Northeastern United States,” Douglas Waggoner, CEO of Echo Global Logistics, said in a statement.
