Rand McNally Inc. said Tuesday it has integrated its fleet-management hardware with McLeod Software’s document-management system, allowing for real-time alerts.
The new integration allows for fleets to see when tasks are completed and provides automatic notification of arrival and departures, according to Rand McNally.
The new features work on Rand McNally’s TND 760 and TPC 7600 mobile communication fleet-management system.
The feature “will enable our customers to easily automate visibility to planned stops with load specifics for the expected driver tasks to be completed at the stop,” said a McLeod spokesperson.
