Pacer’s Third-Quarter Income Declines

Pacer International’s third-quarter net income fell, as its intermodal and logistics margins declined from a year ago.

Net income fell to $1.1 million or 3 cents a share, from $6.6 million, or 19 cents, a year ago.

Sales dropped to $348.9 million from $375.8 million, the company said Thursday.

Intermodal revenue declined 3.7% to $291 million and logistics revenue fell 21.2% to $58.1 million.
