Canadian transportation firm TransForce Inc. said its third-quarter net income almost tripled, boosted by acquisitions.
Net income rose to C$53.8 million, or 53 cents per share, from C$19.3 million, or 20 cents, a year earlier. Adjusted net income spiked 31% to C$43.5 million.
Revenue rose 3% to C$761 million, the Montreal-based trucking and logistics company said.
TransForce Inc. is ranked No. 8 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
