The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has launched a Facebook page which the agency said will increase transparency and public awareness of its safety programs, encourage collaboration and stimulate innovation.
FMCSA said the page will be updated daily and feature announcements, events, important updates and other information of interest to trucking industry stakeholders.
The agency said it values the input of all safety stakeholders, including enforcement, industry, safety advocates and the public.
“By sharing ideas, we can make a greater impact in improving safety on our nation’s roadways, FMCSA said in a statement.
