Leasing Venture Offers 16,000 Trailers
Trailer Leasing Alliance LLC, Wayne, Pa., said it has launched full-service trailer leasing operations with 16,000 late-model 53-foot trailers.
The equipment was recently acquired by US Trailer Holdings LLC, TLA said July 31.
TLA is a joint venture of Milestone Trailer Leasing, Tiburon, Calif., and Bowman Sales and Equipment Inc., Hagerstown, Md.
The company is run by president Marc Meunier, a former Transport International Pool Inc. executive.
Milestone Trailer operates 18,000 highway trailers through its sister company, Personal Attention Leasing.
Milestone, a unit of Milestone Equipment Corp, is a lessor of domestic containers and intermodal trailers and has a fleet of 40,000 units.
