TravelCenters’ 2Q Income Rises

TravelCenters of America said Tuesday its second-quarter net income rose from a year ago.

The truck stop chain’s profit rose to $29.9 million, or $1.04 per share, from $21.8 million, or $1 per share, a year ago.

Revenue slipped to $2.04 billion from $2.09 billion, while fuel sales revenue fell to $1.7 billion from $1.76 billion.
