Gasoline’s national average price rose by an average 3 cents over the past two weeks to $2.68 a gallon, slowing its recent increases, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.
The previous Lundberg Survey two weeks ago had shown an 18-cent gain over the prior two weeks.
Mid-grade averaged $2.81, while premium’s average price was $2.93, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her twice-monthly report.
The lowest price was in Tucscon, Ariz., at $2.36, while Anchorage, Alaska, had the highest, at $3.30 per gallon.
The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
