Intermec’s Fourth-Quarter Profit Declines

Supply chain technology firm Intermec Inc.’s fourth-quarter net income dropped to $9.1 million, or 15 cents a share, from $16.5 million, or 27 cents, a year ago.

Revenue fell 13.6% to $182.7 million, Intermec said in a statement.

Full-year net earnings rose to $35.5 million, or 58 cents a share, from $23.1 million, or 38 cents, in 2007. Revenue rose 6.7% to $738.4 million.
