Arcadia Capital Group to Buy 3PL Firm DLJ Express

Third-party logistics firm DLJ Express will be sold to investment company Arcadia Capital Group, the company that arranged the sale said.

DLJ, which is owned by Donna Johnson and Bill Johnson, specializes in transporting empty ocean containers and other empty transportation equipment, according to the March Group, a firm that arranges corporate acquisitions.

Arcadia Capital Group invests mainly in real estate, yet also invests in some PODS self storage and moving franchises, the March Group said in a statement.

The Johnsons have worked in transportation for 30 years, and Bill Johnson started DLJ Express himself, the statement said.
