Amp Trillium Opens CNG Station in Waco, Texas
Amp Trillium has opened a compressed natural gas fueling location in Waco, Texas, the first of seven stations planned as part of an agreement with Dairy Farmers of America and Select Milk Producers to convert part of their diesel fleets to CNG.
Amp Trillium, a joint venture of AmpCNG and Trillium CNG, described the fast-fill station as the city’s first public-access CNG fueling site.
It will be open around the clock and allows for three Class 8 trucks to fuel simultaneously, the company said.
Amp Trillium said the station is easily accessible for trucks running the Interstate 35 corridor that connects cities such as Austin, Fort Worth, Dallas, San Antonio and Waco.
“This station and our developing network of ultra fast-fill CNG stations will enable fleets on routes across Texas to realize the benefits of switching from diesel to CNG,” said Steve Josephs, director of engineering and co-founder of AmpCNG.
