AirIQ Posts 3Q Loss

Canadian technology firm AirIq Inc., which provides wireless location services to the trucking industry, said it lost C$3.4 million, or 2 Canadian cents per share, in the third quarter, compared with a loss of C$1.2 million, or 1 Canadian cent, a year earlier.

The company said revenue was C$4.7 million, compared with C$9.9 million a year ago. It said the losses arose chiefly because of severance costs, foreign exchange losses, and a working capital charge of about C$2.5 million during the quarter.
